Christmas

Anybody who knows me will tell you that Christmas is my most favourite time of year.

Everything from the twinkling lights to the smell of the open fire .

Every year I rush around to ensure that I have thought of every one and that I have completed all of the “mandatory ” activities . I usually end up exhausted and broke.

This year I have taken a more relaxed approached and I am focusing more on spending quality time with family and friends , largely due to my parents reminding me that Christmas is a celebration of family .I have decided that cosy nights in watching Christmas films with my kids and drinking hot chocolate will replace big nights out and family days strolling around the markets and the park will be our priority rather than fighting for car spaces in our local shopping centre ! I want my kids to have memories full of family time and love , these will last far longer than the plastic toys and shopping .
