Simple Beauty – Review

When I found out I was pregnant I wanted to change up my skincare routine a little – I wanted to take out the harsher chemicals I normally use and replace with a more gentle regime . I had heard a few good things about the Simple range so decided to try those out for a while .

I had high hopes for this range but unfortunately the only product I enjoyed using was the Skin Quench Sleeping Cream , the day moisturiser did not leave my skin as hydrated as I wanted .

Vital Vitamin Foaming Cleanser

Light weight foaming cleanser , very gentle but I really did not feel that it cleaned my skin in the same way as other cleansers I have used .

Hydrating Cleansing Oil

This is very lightly scented cleansing oil while it is an ok cleanser it would not be my favourite ! You can not use it near your eyes which is always a bug bear of mine as I like to 2nd cleanse and run it over my eyes .I find it to be a very middle of the road product , not great , not horrible !

Protecting Light Moisturiser

This is a light moisturiser and has an SPF of 15 however , I really did not like the feel of this on my skin and it really did not make my skin feel hydrated , I have normal skin so I would have expected this to keep my skin feeling more hydrated , I would not recommend this if you have drier skin .

Skin Quench Sleeping Cream

This is a light gel formula that feels very wet but sinks into your skin really easily – It really does hydrate your skin while you sleep. I also found this to be very cooling especially in the hot evenings that we have been having recently .

Overall I was disappointed in this range as a whole and I would only recommend the night cream – Have you tried this range ?
