Easy Peasy Chicken Dippers – Family Favourites

I am always looking for easy , tasty and healthy meal ideas for my family and an added bonus would be a meal that could mimic a take away so the kids think they are winning 😉 My idea on Saturday was to make home made chicken dippers using breadcrumbs as a coating but as per usual we were out of bread and I didn’t fancy putting frozen bread in my food processor so I had to improvise and it was a risk that really worked out , Noah even said these are so tasty mom , like that is high praise you couldn’t buy 😉

Ingredients :

Chicken Breasts or Fresh Chicken strips ( I get these in Tesco )

2 Eggs Beaten

Flour

3 Weetabix crushed

Salt & Pepper

Smoked Paprika ( optional )

Method :

  1. Dip your chicken pieces in your seasoned flour ( You can add your smoked paprika to the flour for extra flavour )
  2. Dip Floured chicken in the beaten egg
  3. Dip the chicken into the weetabix
  4. Add chicken to a lined baking tray and bake for 15 minutes at 180

See , quick and easy and a huge bonus is that you know exactly what you are feeding your small kids and your big kids 😉 I served these with home made chips done in the air fryer but you could serve them in wraps or soft rolls and add sweet chilli or BBQ sauce .
